Perhaps you own a business that has one or more of these items in overstock, you may contribute it to this mission and utilize it as a tax deduction. You could approach businesses in your town and invite them to contribute to this very worthy cause. In particular, rubber stamp stores, craft stores, variety stores, paper stores, scrapbook stores, shoe stores, baby stores, etc. Let them know their contributions are tax deductible as donated to Journey Christian Church.
In addition, those of you that could speak on our behalf at your church, clubs, workplaces or any other gathering of folks that might consider assisting us, would be immeasurable~! Take it a step further and go out into your communities and render your own mini-campaign on our behalf by offering to collect the needed items for your churches, clubs, workplaces, etc. and be the point person to send these items to us. Your assistance no matter how large or small can only help our mission be successful as it will help us reach our goals.
For those of you that are near to a Costco, they have two amazing packs of both rubber stamps and decorator scissors. They are packed with about 50 of either for around $33.00 right now.
Payless Shoe stores always has great deals going. See if your local store might be willing to put out a barrel for folks to purchase a single pair and contribute to the bin. Speak to the manager and see if there might be any shoes that they have in stock that they wish to donate. They could receive a tax deduction if donated via Journey Christian Church.
